Overview
A demanding trek into the heart of the Hindu Kush range, this route takes trekkers to the base camp of Tirich Mir (7,708m/25,289ft), the highest peak in the range. Starting in the fertile Tirich Valley, the trail follows the Tirich Glacier to Babu Camp (4,700m/15,420ft), with incredible views of other giant peaks like Noshaq and Istor-o-Nal. The trek combines high-altitude trekking with the cultural experience of interacting with the local Kalash people of Chitral.
