Overview

The Deosai Plateau is a large high-altitude plateau with an average elevation of 3,500 meters (11,660 feet), located 32 kilometers southwest of Skardu and reachable by the Satpara Lake. It is a vital link between Baltistan and the Astore Valley, spanning 70 km.
