Overview
Situated in the isolated Shimshal Valley of the Hunza district, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan, Minglik Sar Peak (sometimes spelled Manglik Sar or Mingli Sar) is a picturesque and well-liked trekking destination.Its elevation above sea level is 6,050 meters (19,849 feet). The peak is situated in Upper Hunza, close to Shimshal Pass and Shimshal Lake, in the Karakoram range. The area, which borders the Pamir mountain range, is referred to as "Karakorams no mans land."

Services Included
- Help with the Islamabad trekking permit application process (in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism).
- Fee for a trekking permit (as per the rules of the Government of Pakistan).
- A letter of invitation for a visa and any necessary supporting documentation.
- Transfers by 4x4 Jeep: Skardu to Jhola to Skardu, then back via Hushe.
- All government taxes are included in the domestic airfare (depending on availability) from Islamabad to Skardu to Islamabad.
- If a flight is canceled, private road transportation will be arranged for two days between Islamabad and Skardu, with one night spent in transit.
- Accommodations in hotels and guest houses in Skardu and Islamabad.
- All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during the trek prepared by our field kitchen.
- 15 kg of luggage per hiker (carried by a porter). Extra bags can be stored at the hotel/office in Skardu.
- Sleeping arrangements include a toilet tent for small groups and mess/kitchen tents. Larger groups will have separate dining tents, mess tents, tables, and chairs.
- Fuel, crockery, kitchenware, and communal equipment provided.
- Pay and basic equipment for local staff including assistants, porters, cooks, and guides.
- Experienced English-speaking trekking guide.
- Sightseeing in Islamabad, including transport and English-speaking guide.
- Bridge & campsite fees where applicable.
- Gondogoro La rescue fee.
- Insurance for field staff and low-altitude porters (excluding helicopter rescue).
- Transportation at airports, toll taxes & parking fees.
Services Not Included
- Airport taxes, excess baggage fees, and international airfare.
- Islamabad hotel stay not included in the itinerary.
- Meals in Islamabad (apart from hotel breakfasts).
- Charges for helicopter rescue and evacuation (customers must have travel insurance that covers this).
- Room service, minibar, laundry, drinks, internet and phone bills, shopping, etc. — all personal expenses.
- Liability insurance: customers are responsible for arranging their own health, travel, and accident insurance. (5K Adventure is not responsible for theft, illness, accidents, or loss of personal belongings.)
- Tipping local staff and porters (at the discretion of the client).
- Any unanticipated expenses due to landslides, natural disasters, political unrest, canceled flights, or other external circumstances.
